HOME

Watch HOME, a movie by Yann Arthus-Bertrand and Luc Besson about the Earth - our planet, and about Life on it - our life.

We are living in exceptional times. Scientists tell us that we have 10 years to change the way we live, avert the depletion of natural resources and the catastrophic evolution of the Earth's climate. The stakes are high for us and our children. Everyone should take part in the effort, and HOME has been conceived to take a message of mobilization out to every human being. For this purpose, HOME needs to be free. A patron, the PPR Group, made this possible. EuropaCorp, the distributor, also pledged not to make any profit because Home is a non-profit film. HOME has been made for you : share it! And act for the planet.

Pay attention to how the film is shot. All frames are taken from above, and such a perspective makes the HOME's idea yet more metaphorical - keep your/our Home from invasion, do not pollute it, do not 'touch' it without paramount necessity.

Just An Amendment

When I was writing previous topic I forgot to mention about the Blacksmith Institute.
For three years it has already made a list of the most polluted spots in the world and has defined the worst pollution problems.

So, among former are India, Guinea, Russia, Peru, Dominican Republic, Kenya...just to name a few.
Among latter are groundwater contamination, urban and indoor air pollution, radioactive waste and uranium mines and so on. You can go at WorstPolluted.org and see all the materials through your eyes.

But maybe you have got anything else to add? JUST DO IT!
